Lab2Market offers three programs at several universities across Canada, forging links between industry and some of the most innovative thinkers in the country. Our challenge was to create compelling and clear brand messaging and visual design that will support program communications through their next phase of growth.

VISUAL IDENTITY

We explored the visual hierarchy—how the logo and the programs work together—ensuring it could work beside their partner institutions' brands and accommodate future programs. Through the BOLD session, we identified the brand’s four main identifiers were scholarly, approachable, accessible and innovative.

We revamped their palette and photography treatment to inspire confidence and credibility, while still demonstrating a modern and forward-thinking approach.

BRAND STRATEGY + MESSAGING

With programs running across the country at a number of institutions, consistency and ease of use was key. We simplified the brand’s tone and promises across the product portfolio, as well as highlighting considerations for each program’s audience.

Equipped with these streamlined communication tools, many teams and stakeholders across the country can more easily achieve brand consistency.

We had an outstanding experience with BOLD LIP and their exceptional work in rebranding the Lab2Market program. Their attention to detail, commitment to deadlines, and open communication throughout the project made working with them an absolute pleasure.
